Children and Youth Ministry  Boy’s and girl’s step-team practice Tuesday and Thursday this week from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

Weeders Needed!  We are trying to keep our beautiful Memorial Garden
relatively weed-free during the summer months.  This is the courtyard
located between the lobby and the chapel, which is enjoyed and appreciated

Seekers Class where questions are encouraged, listening is required and hearts are accepted.   Come and join co-leaders Dan Thelen and Kahlida Lloyd in what will be a time of exploring how God can meet us right where we are and help us grow through seeking and discussion. Green Tip
Do you compost? First Grace does! There is a compost area in the Community Garden that you are welcome to feed. The garden is between the parking lot and Iberville St. inside the white picket fence. The compost area is on the Jeff Davis side of the garden. Deposit your fruit and vegetable peelings and egg shells in the area that says, “Feed Me”!


Tuesday Meal Ministry will continuing offering our homecooked meals on Tuesday May 22nd and Tuesday May 29th at 12:30pm.  Interested volunteers are invited to help prepare, serve, or clean up any time between 10:30am and 2:30pm.  And we need desserts!  If you are interested in any of these ministry opportunities, please contact Dan Thelen at dthelen2520@gmail.com 

Summer Backpack Program will start on Thursday, May 24th. Interested volunteers are invited to help pack and distribute backpacks between 2:00-6:00 PM each Thursday. Contact Stephanie in the Church office for more information.

Desmond Project Looking for a way to make a difference in our community. The Desmond Project provides a healthy, nutritious meal to the men, women and children at the New Orleans Mission every Saturday evening. Contact Jackie Vinson at blaqjacque@gmail.com.
