Bake sale to benefit First Grace Children and Youth There will be a bake sale on this Sunday (February 4) immediately after worship. Stop by after worship and pick-up some delicious treats for you and your family. Credit cards accepted.
ENDYMION -Join the members and families of First Grace for a fun-filled day as we wait for Endymion to roll past First Grace. Featuring Jambalaya by Richard Rogers, Brisket by David Harms, clean restrooms, and a great view for people watching. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks and what you need to have a great time.
Volunteers are needed to help monitor the bathrooms, and to work with the food stations. Donations of side dishes, snacks and drinks are welcomed. Please call the church office at 504.488.0856 or email email@example.com if you can help.
All parents please sign up to volunteer at least one hour with your children to sell bathroom passes for Endymion parade on Saturday February 10, 2018.
There is a sign up sheet in the bulletin for members who want to volunteer.
Safe Sanctuaries training on Saturday February 17, 2018 for all children’s staff and Sunday school teachers from 9:00am – 11:00am in the fellowship hall.

Learning to Love Being Kind. Pastor’s Tuesday Night Study-The Spirituality of Imperfection 6:15 PM-7:30 PM, beginning, 1-16-2018, upstairs conference room. All invited. We are focusing on Micah 6.8: And what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Our daily spiritual discipline is: “to practice loving kindness, while not giving up on justice, by trusting God with our vengeance.”
Seekers Class where questions are encouraged, listening is required and hearts are accepted. Come and join co-leaders Dan Thelen and Kahlida Lloyd in what will be a time of exploring how God can meet us right where we are and help us grow through seeking and discussion. Classes are at 10:00AM each Sunday in the Parlor.

Green Tip To help finance its mission of assisting low-income families in financing and building homes, Habitat for Humanity operates ReStore, which sells donated tools, materials, architectural salvage and more to the public at reduced prices. It welcomes donated tools, lumber, plumbing, flooring, appliances, doors and more in good condition. Pick-up is available. Located at 2900 Elysian Fields Ave in New Orleans 504-943-2240.
