Pastor’s Tuesday Night Study; Tuesdays 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM
Breathing and Brene’– An 8 week study of Brene’ Brown’s, Braving the Wilderness-the quest for true belonging and the courage to stand alone; along with breathing practices. We will also watch a documentary film on Folsom Prison entitled, THE WORK, which addresses the capacity to overcome our brokenness and live out of healing and empathy.
The United Methodist Women in conjunction with the League of Women Voters, New Orleans Chapter will host a voter registration drive on Sunday, September 9 immediately after worship.

THE GATHERING – FIRST GRACE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
September 2 God created the Heavens and the Earth
Purpose: To reflect afresh about what it means to say that God created the universe. (Scripture: Genesis 1:1-13)
September 9 God Created Plants and Animals
Purpose: To contemplate the goodness and the order of God’s creation.
(Scripture: Genesis: 14-25)
September 16 God Created People
Purpose: To ponder how to live as the image of God.
(Scripture: Genesis 1:26-31)
September 23 Shomade Sunday

The First Grace Tuesday Meal will continue to provide delicious, home cooked meals to our community this month on Tuesday September 18th and Tuesday September 25th. Come join us!
