Theme: Connectedness
All children in the church and surrounding communities are welcome to participate in singing, crafts, food, and learning what the bible says about our theme this year. The VBS participants will discuss connecting with God,connecting with others,connecting with creation/earth, and serving all. All parents please register your children on Sunday morning during service. Registration forms will be available on the hospitality table in the rear of the Sanctuary on Sunday and each night for parents to sign-up their child.

 

 
Sunday, June 17th The parents of the Youth Choir will meet with Min. Jackson immediately after worship in the Choir loft.
Shomade Sunday  Shomade Groups will meet on next Sunday (June 24) at 10:00 AM. If you are not a member of a Shomade Group please contact the church office.
LEARNING
Seekers Class where questions are encouraged, listening is required and hearts are accepted.   Come and join co-leaders Dan Thelen and Kahlida Lloyd in what will be a time of exploring how God can meet us right where we are and help us grow through seeking and discussion. Classes are at 10:00AM each Sunday in the Parlor.

throughout the church buildings. Use them for paper, plastic, metal
recyclables. No STYROFOAM, No PLASTIC BAGS, No SOILED PAPER

SERVING  
Tuesday Meal Ministry will continuing offering our homecooked meals
on Tuesday May 22nd and Tuesday May 29th at 12:30pm.  Interested
volunteers are invited to help prepare, serve, or clean up any time between
10:30am and 2:30pm.  And we need desserts!  If you are interested in any of
these ministry opportunities, please contact Dan Thelen at
Weeders Needed!  We are trying to keep our beautiful Memorial Garden
relatively weed-free during the summer months.  This is the courtyard
located between the lobby and the chapel, which is enjoyed and appreciated
by so many people.  If you can give a couple of hours of your time, please

Desmond Project Looking for a way to make a difference in our community. The Desmond Project provides a healthy, nutritious meal to the men, women and children at the New Orleans Mission every Saturday evening. Contact Jackie Vinson at blaqjacque@gmail.com.

While Jose takes Sanctuary in First Grace,
the Sanctuary Hospitality Committee has been asked to support
Jose’s family the following ways: Family Transportation (sign up
